Holiday Lighting Installation in Laurel, NY

Holiday Light Installation in Laurel, NY

Laurel is one of the quietest stretches of the North Fork, a small hamlet in the Town of Southold that sits between Mattituck and Jamesport, with a sliver reaching into Riverhead. Once known as Franklinville, it still has the farm-country feel of its early settlers, and a handful of carefully preserved 19th-century houses line the old roads. That setting calls for holiday lighting that looks at home, not overdone. Our team designs displays that trace the clean gables and porches of farmhouses and the long rooflines of newer homes set back on deep, open lots, so your house glows from the road without fighting the rural landscape around it.

Open fields and the nearby waters of Great Peconic Bay mean December wind moves through Laurel with little to slow it down. We install C9 LED lights with commercial-grade clips that hold along gutters, peaks and ridges, and our crew handles bulb replacement and maintenance for the rest of the season. Deep front yards and long driveways are a natural fit for our Premium package, which adds driveway and walkway borders, wrapped trees and lit hedges. When the holidays end, we take everything down and store it, so there are no tangled strands waiting in your barn or garage next fall.

Around Laurel: North Fork Places We Love to Light Up Near

Laurel is defined by open space: the woods and meadows of Laurel Lake Preserve, farm fields along the Main Road corridor and the bayfront a short drive south. It shares its library and park district with neighboring Mattituck, so the community feels closely tied to Love Lane and the inlet. We light homes across the hamlet, from older farmhouses near the preserve to newer houses on quiet side streets, with designs that suit the North Fork's rural character.

• Laurel Lake PreserveRoughly 400 acres of woods, meadow and a 30-acre kettle hole lake, making it the largest preserve in the Town of Southold.

• Mattituck Park DistrictManages the parks, preserves and beaches used by Laurel and Mattituck residents between Peconic Bay and Long Island Sound.
