Franklin Square has been a crossroads for a long time. It was known as Trimming Square in the sheep-shearing days, took the name Washington Square after George Washington passed through in 1790, and settled on Franklin Square in the 1870s. Today it is a dense, comfortable Town of Hempstead hamlet of capes, colonials, high-ranches and expanded ranches on close-set lots, with Hempstead Turnpike as its main commercial spine. On blocks where houses sit side by side, a clean, well-balanced roofline display makes a big difference, and a sloppy one stands out just as quickly.
We design Franklin Square displays to suit tight lots and busy streets: crisp C9 LED lines along the gutters and peaks, full roofline outlines for homes with dormers and second stories, and, when you want more, lit hedges, wrapped trees and walkway borders. Everything goes up with commercial-grade clips, with power extensions and timers where needed. We handle maintenance and bulb replacement throughout the season, then take it all down and store it. Most installs are completed within about 48 hours of booking, and we also light storefronts along the Turnpike for the holiday shopping season.

Around Franklin Square: Local Landmarks Near Our Installs
Franklin Square's landmarks are woven into everyday life along Hempstead Turnpike, from the historic Franklin National Bank building, where the bank credit card was pioneered, to the Art Deco movie theater landmarked in 2019. Families gather at Rath Park in summer, and neighbors in Elmont and West Hempstead share libraries and parks. Between them are the tidy residential blocks where our crews design and install holiday lighting every season.

Franklin Square Holiday Lighting FAQs
Houses in Franklin Square are close together. Can you still create a big display?
Yes. On close-set lots we focus on the parts of the house people see from the street, like a clean roofline outline, lit hedges and a glowing walkway. Our Deluxe package covers the full roofline, and our Premium package adds bushes, trees, walkway borders and specialty decor. Call 516-588-8259 to plan it.
Can you light a shop or office on Hempstead Turnpike?
We do commercial holiday lighting as well as residential. That includes design, installation, maintenance throughout the season, takedown and storage. Because every storefront along the Turnpike is different, call us to talk about your building, your signage and the look you want for the holiday shopping season.
My high-ranch has a long, flat gutter line. What would look best?
Long gutter lines look sharp with evenly spaced C9 LED bulbs, which is the heart of our Basic package. If you want to add color, the Deluxe package includes custom color patterns across the full roofline, plus a power extension and timer. We are happy to talk through options by phone.
What if a section of my lights stops working in December?
Maintenance throughout the season is included with every package, including bulb replacement. If part of your display goes dark, call us and we will come back and fix it, so your Franklin Square home stays bright from the first night of the season until takedown.
