Smithtown traces its start to 1665, when Richard Smith's claim was recognized under the Nicolls Patent, and the local legend says he rode a bull to mark his land in a single day. Historians call that story a myth, but Whisper the bull still stands at the fork of Routes 25 and 25A, and it is one of the first things people mention about the hamlet. Just down the road, Main Street keeps its historic buildings and the 1933 Smithtown Performing Arts Center. Businesses along Main Street can put up a commercial holiday display, and we handle the whole job, from design and installation through maintenance, takedown and storage.
Around the downtown, Smithtown's neighborhoods range from older homes near the historic Village of the Branch to later family subdivisions with plenty of landscaping. Caleb Smith State Park Preserve protects the Nissequogue River's headwaters, Sunken Meadow stretches along Long Island Sound, and Nissequogue River State Park fills the bluffs in nearby Kings Park. How late in the season can I book an install in Smithtown?

What happens if bulbs burn out before Christmas?
Maintenance is included throughout the season. If a bulb burns out or a section goes dark, call us and we will send someone to replace it. You do not need to buy spare bulbs or climb a ladder to fix anything yourself, even after a windy storm off the Sound.
When do you take the lights down, and where do they go?
Takedown and storage are included with every package. After the holidays, our crew removes your display and stores it until next season, so your garage and attic stay clear. If you want a particular takedown window, give us a call and we will work out a date that suits you.
