Moriches is a small South Shore hamlet in the Town of Brookhaven, bordered by the Forge River and Moriches Neck and looking out toward Moriches Bay. Locals like to call it Long Island's best kept secret, and it has an unpretentious, down-to-earth feel compared with the Hamptons farther east. Homes range from modest ranches and capes to houses set along the water, often on streets that end at creeks or marsh. We design holiday lighting that fits those homes, starting with crisp C9 LED gutter and peak lines in our Basic package and scaling up to full rooflines and landscaping when you want more.
Waterside living brings wind and damp salt air off the bay, which is tough on lights that are loosely hung or stapled up. We install with commercial-grade clips that hold firmly along gutters and shingles, and we handle maintenance through the season, including bulb replacement, if the weather takes a toll. The Deluxe package adds ridges, dormers and gables, custom color patterns and a power extension and timer. When the season wraps up, our crew takes everything down and stores it, so there is nothing sitting in a damp garage or shed near the water until next year.

Moriches sits where the Forge River meets Moriches Bay, between Mastic to the west and Center Moriches to the east. Its history ties to the water and to local industry, including a duck farm that once ranked among the largest in the country. Today it is a quiet residential community with preserves, historic estates and bay views close by, and homes here look warm and welcoming with a clean holiday display.

Moriches Holiday Lighting FAQs
Will holiday lights hold up on a waterfront home in Moriches?
Homes on the Forge River and along the bay see more wind and moisture than inland streets. We install with commercial-grade clips designed to keep lights secure, and in-season maintenance is included. If bulbs fail or a section shifts after a storm, our team comes back to fix it. Call 631-515-7882 with any questions about your property.
Is the Basic package enough for a Moriches ranch or cape?
For many single-story homes, yes. The Basic package covers C9 LED lighting on front-facing gutters and peaks with commercial-grade clips, plus maintenance, takedown and storage. If you want side gables, dormers or ridges lit, or a timer, the Deluxe package adds the full roofline.
Do you come out as far east as Moriches?
Yes. We serve homes throughout Suffolk County, including Moriches, Center Moriches, East Moriches and the Mastic area. Installation typically happens within 48 hours of booking. Our Suffolk office is open Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm and weekends 10am to 6pm.
Can you light the dock posts or bulkhead on my property?
Every waterfront property is different, and features like docks and bulkheads depend on power access and conditions. Our Premium package covers yard displays, borders, trees and hedges. Call 631-515-7882 and describe what you would like, and we will let you know what we can include in your design.
Why not store the lights myself after Christmas?
You can skip that job entirely. Takedown and storage are included in every package, and keeping lights out of damp sheds and garages near the bay helps them stay in good shape. When next season arrives, just call us to schedule your installation again.
