Freeport is the second-largest village in New York, and it feels like several neighborhoods in one. South of Sunrise Highway, streets run right down to canals like Woodcleft, where homes sit a few steps from their docks. Canal-front homes get more exposure, so we install with commercial-grade clips and plan each run and power connection carefully. Maintenance throughout the season is included, so if wind moves a strand or a bulb fails, call 516-588-8259 and we will come back and take care of it.
Can you light a restaurant or shop on the Nautical Mile?
Yes. We install holiday lighting for commercial properties as well as homes, and we handle design, installation, in-season maintenance, takedown and storage. Waterfront businesses come in every shape, so the best first step is a call to talk about your building, your hours and the look you want.
Do you work on older Victorian-style homes in the village?
Yes. Older homes often have steep gables, porches and detailed trim, and our Deluxe package covers the full roofline, including peaks, ridges, dormers and gables, with custom color patterns. For porches and entries, our Premium package adds wreaths, garlands and bows. Call us to talk through your home.
How quickly can you get lights up on my Freeport house?
Most installs are completed within about 48 hours of booking. The weeks right after Thanksgiving fill up the fastest, so booking earlier gives you the most flexibility. Our Nassau line, 516-588-8259, is open Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm and weekends from 10am to 6pm.
Do I need space to store the lights after the season?
No. Takedown and storage are included in our service. After the holidays we remove your display and keep everything stored, which is handy for Freeport homes with limited garage or basement space. Your lights will be ready to go again next season.
