Usually, yes. We look at where branches overhang and where lights will be visible from the street, then plan the roofline runs accordingly. Often the best approach is to combine a clean gutter-and-peak outline with wrapping the trunks and lower branches of those trees, which is included in our Premium package, so the trees become a feature of the display.
Can you decorate a historic saltbox or colonial without damaging it?
We use clips rather than nails or screws in historic trim and shingles, and we keep designs simple and in character with the house. For many older Three Village homes, a warm white roofline, candle-style window wreaths and a garland at the entry are plenty. Call us to talk through your home and anything specific to your property.
How soon can you install Christmas lights in East Setauket?
Most installs happen within 48 hours of booking. The Three Village area is a busy part of our Suffolk County schedule once December approaches, so calling 631-515-7882 early gives you the widest choice of dates. We are available Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm and Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 6pm.
Can the lights come on automatically every night?
Yes. Our Deluxe package includes a power extension and a timer, and the Premium package includes everything in Deluxe. We set the timer during installation so your display turns on and off on a consistent schedule, which saves you from running outside on cold nights and keeps the house lit even when you are away.
