Can you light a large East Hampton estate, including hedges and long driveways?
Yes. Our Premium package is built for larger properties and includes lighting on bushes and hedges with nets or string lights, tree wrapping on trunks and branches, driveway and walkway borders, wreaths and garlands, and a full design consultation. For an estate we walk the grounds first so the design fits the house, the plantings and how the property is viewed from the road.
I am not in East Hampton full time. Can you manage everything while I am away?
That is a common request here. We handle design, installation, maintenance throughout the season, takedown and storage after the holidays, so there is nothing for you to coordinate once the plan is set. Will lights hold up to the wind near the ocean?
Homes near the Atlantic and Georgica Pond see stronger winter wind and salt air than inland properties. We use commercial-grade clips to fasten lighting securely along gutters and peaks, and our season-long maintenance means we come back to fix any section that has been affected by weather. My home is in the historic district. Are there rules I should know about?
Requirements can differ depending on your property, so we recommend checking with the Village of East Hampton or your association if you are unsure. On our side, we design displays that complement historic architecture, attach lights with clips rather than hardware driven into trim, and keep the look clean and understated.
