Wading River began as a small North Shore settlement of fewer than 500 year-round residents and grew after World War II as families built homes on the wooded land between Route 25A and Long Island Sound. Today the hamlet, mostly in the Town of Riverhead with a sliver in Brookhaven, mixes post-war ranches and capes, newer colonials on larger lots, and cottages perched near the bluffs. My ranch house has a simple roofline. Which package makes sense?
Many Wading River ranches look great with our Basic package, which covers C9 LED lighting on the front-facing gutters and peaks with commercial-grade clips, season maintenance, takedown and storage. If you want the full roofline or custom color patterns, Deluxe adds those plus a power extension and timer. Call us and we will help you choose.
Can you light the tall trees on my wooded lot?
Yes. Tree wrapping on trunks and branches is included in our Premium package, along with lighting for bushes and hedges, driveway and walkway borders, and specialty décor such as icicles and snowflakes. Wooded Wading River properties can look spectacular with lit trees. We will plan which trees to feature during your design consultation.
What if a storm off the Sound knocks some lights loose?
Maintenance throughout the season is included with every package. If wind off Long Island Sound loosens a strand or bulbs go out, call us and we will come back and fix it. We also install with commercial-grade clips from the start, which helps displays on exposed bluff-side homes stay put.
Do I need to store the lights myself after the season?
No. Takedown and storage are both included. After the holidays, we remove your display carefully and keep it in storage until next season, so you do not have to find room in the garage or shed. When fall comes around, just call us to schedule your next installation.
